I got so into the habit of not doing anything while I was sick that I forgot to do things on Sunday. I did all the things I’m not supposed to – got keto treats, blew off the yoga workout I wanted to do before I rode, door dashed too much food – and my reward was +3 lbs on the scale. Like oh yeah, I’m supposed to do stuff so this doesn’t happen.
Anyway, that was a wakeup call, so today I hit the gym HARD. I did day 1 of the Magnus WW84 workout, that I have tried and failed to start 3 times now (stupid illness) and I felt like it really clicked (I guess that happens when you have to do day 1 3 weeks in a row.) I got through 3 sets of ten deadlifts with no tweaking in my lower back, which is great – I kept the weight low (85 lbs) but enough to be challenging after 3 sets! The whole workout took me a full hour with stretching which is crazy, and then I had to wash my hair so I was at the gym for almost two full hours. Needless to say I was not at work at 7 ๐Ÿ™‚ But I had no early meetings today, surprisingly, so it was all good.
