I woke up feeling extra tired, groggy, and sore despite going to bed early (well, on-time) so I figured I would listen to my body and make today a lunch time workout day. But after hitting snooze a few times and stumbling around to feed the kitties, I perked right up. I played a little should-I-shouldn’t-I before I figured you know what? I’m going. I’ll swim, which is not only a shorter workout, but will also help with the soreness.

Usually I start my work day between 7-7:30, but I didn’t get to the gym until 7:08. However, I had a really good swim, and made it online by 8:30 which is an hour before my first meeting. For some reason whenever I swim I do it for 25 minutes…I’m not sure why it’s not a full 30, but I felt so good today I did the extra 5 minutes. Now I just have to ride tonight – yesterday’s ride got cancelled because of rain, that I don’t think was really that much rain, but when I went to leave it looked like it was going to be bad. Now it’s really overcast but I’m gonna try to get to the barn no matter what, unless it’s actively down pouring (which is not in the forecast, but we’ll see.)
