I have this problem on Sundays where I am so tired I sleep all day – until like 6 or 7 pm, then suddenly I get a burst of energy. No matter how much caffeine I drink all day, it’s like I can barely move from my bed to the couch, all I do is nap and eat, even playing games gets exhausting. Then suddenly evening hits and I’m scrambling to make up 500 calories of activity to close some rings before I’m supposed to be in bed an hour ago. It’s frustrating! I could probably counteract it with Vyvanse, but I like to give my body a break from it for at least two days.
The plus side is at least I went to the barn – I only had time to brush Griffy and do some quick archery training but it was better than nothing. Then I ordered sushi and while I was waiting for it to be ready I went for a walk around the parking lot of the strip mall it’s in (which is huge) so I got my exercise in the for the day. But I think next sprint I’m making it a rule I have to be at the barn by 9am…even if all I do is come home and nap after, at least I’ll have gotten something accomplished.
