1.24 mile walk
That was supposed to be a 2 mile walk, but I didn’t get enough sleep, got up late, faffed about before getting started, and about half a mile into my walk checked on work to see I had a meeting starting at 9, not 10 like I thought. Whoops. But it’s only the first day, and I was feeling it anyway, so I got in a little over a mile and calling that a win.
The weights were super light which I appreciated. I had planned on going to the gym, but decided to try it at home, because it was late and I was lazy and I was feeling weirdly self-conscious. I subbed Arnolds for the Clean & Press, and I did Good Mornings with an exercise band (which I thought was a pretty brilliant sub that will definitely not wrench my lower back!) but overall it was a solid routine…except for the barbell pullover. That one was weird, but then again I only have dumbbells so maybe it would be better with an actual barbell.
