Today was supposed to be the day I went to a spin class but I wussed out. I could tell you that it was because my cat came & snuggled on my pillow after my alarm went off, or I was tired, but honestly I was afraid of dying. IT’S AN HOUR. WTF.
I opted instead to go and use the assault bike which is barely useful as a training tool (which sucks because I actually like using it) and my time was a little slower than last week so yeah, I’m really screwed for the biking portion of this. I am in fact writing this while looking out my balcony to my sad, dusty, flat-tired bike shoved in a corner barely out of the rain. I should really do something about that.
In other news, did my first weight workout in a while yesterday – I joined the Bruce Lee challenge, and I thought the first workout would be brutal but it wasn’t. Somehow I’m still pretty sore though – I say “somehow” as if I haven’t taken 10 months of consistent lifting. But! We are back! And committed to get in better shape! So yeah. Ow. Tonight I’m going to ride if the weather holds up (it’s cloudy, but not like impending doom cloudy, so I hope it holds off.) At some point I’m going to get a schedule together for stuff and make it more organized like it was before but for now I’m just focusing on doing stuff and getting back to talking about it.
